Society6

It was probably one or two years ago I first found the online store society6.com and fell in love with the artwork you can find there. Some work are amazingly breathtaking, some are really funny, some are super cute and some are just lovely designs.
A week ago I was on the phone with my dad and then he said that maybe I could put up some of my photographs on these wedsites where you can sell your photos to companies and such and see if I maybe could make a little extre money on that. I didn't do that but that made think that I could start my own store on Society6. So that is what I did.

At first I tought about posting some of my photos since I read photography at school and I have two photos up there. But then I realised that I thoght it was more fun to make a design from scratch in GIMP (which is the photoeditor I use because I don't want to pay a fortune for photoshop). I really enjoy doing my ows designs and it also makes me learn the program more which also is fun.

One thing I like much more about Society6 than other places for selling your artwork I have seen is that you don't only sell it as art prints or canvas, you can also sell it on clothing, throw pillows, mugs, wall clocks, phone cases and more!

When You Can't Decide

I am addicted to nail polish. That is just how it is. I have just over 100 nail polishes and I can't remember the last time I went even one day with any colour on my nails. Sometimes I know exactly which polish I'm going to paint them and sometimes I know which colour I want but can't make up my mind on which shade. That was how it was last time I painted them. So instead of just using one shade, I used five. One for each nail. From black to white. Shiny, shimmer and glitter. And I love it!

Simple School Makeup

I'm guessing school have started for most people now, or will start soon. And that probably means that you have to get up earlier and not have as much time for doing your makeup. You might also be quite tired and want to make yourself look more awake and fresh. That is why I wanted to share this makeup look with you today. It is a simple look and it only takes about 10 minutes for me to do.

Firstly I just wanted to give you a couple tips for how to make you look more awake when you are doing your makeup;

  • Use a very light eye pencil (or white but it can look a bit harsh) in your waterline and a light eyeshadow in your inner corners. This will help to open up your eyes which makes you look more awake.
  • Use a blush with a little shimmer in it because the shimmer will help making your skin look more healthy. Now if don't like shimmery blushes, then don't use it. But I personally think it's pretty, especially when you skin is looking tired and dull. Alternatively you can use a matt blush and a highlighter or your cheekbones if you have a matt blush you want to use but also want a little glow/shimmer.
  • If you have time, then a winged eyeliner is something that also helps with opening up your eyes. It  doesn't has to be dramatic in any way. Just a thin line with a little wing will do the job.

This is the look that I did and I really feel like it just makes me look awake and fresh which is the whole point of it. The only thing is that I am an winged eyeliner girl and I did not use eyeliner with this look and the reason to that is that I wouldn't always have time for eyeliner when I went to school. (I feel really old when I think about that I'm not in school anymore..) So basically, I would like this look more with a winged eyeliner but if you don't have time, you don't have time, and I still do like this look and it is one that I do quite often.

Here you can see the eyeshadows more. I guess you could say it's a really easy and natural smokey look.

So how did I achieve this look? Well, I started with my base and for that I used the beautycycle oil free foundation (I don't know where you can buy this, I got it from my mom who bought it when she was at a friend who had a makeup artist coming over. Sorry... But I really like it so I wanted to use it). My MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC 15 and my Kicks Powder in Translucent (which I'm running out of) and for blush I used the Wet n Wild Colour Icon blush in Pearlescent Pink. I did not use a bronzer this time but sometimes I do and when I do that it is the E.L.F. Cool bronzer I use.
I filled in my eyebrows with the Soap And Glory Archery Brow Pencil.
For the eyes I primed them with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance and then I used the Wet n Wild Colour Icon Palette in Comfort Zone.I first applied the colour in the top left hand corner on the inner half of my eyelid and as a highlighter in my inner corner. Then I applied the brown colour two steps down from the first one on the outer half of my eyelid and then I blend them together. I finished the eyes with the IsaDora Inliner Kajal in Blonde and the Maybelline The Rocket Mascara.
Lastly for my lips and wanted something natural that doesn't matter if it wears off and that is easy to reapply so I want for the E.L.F. Lip Balm SPF in Peach just to give my lips a little bit of colour and also moisturize them.

How do you like your makeup for school?

beunuki Everyday Chronograph Watch

I have never been one to wear a wrist watch. I don't really know why, I'd just rather wear braclets and look at my phone if I want to know the time. Even though I never wore them I've alwas liked them on others.
Then one day I somehow found beunuki's instagram page and fell in love, and luckely for me, it was my birthday a few week after I found this online store so instead of buying a watch myself I whished for my favourite one for my birthday and I got it from my sister and her boyfriend!

This is the one! Out of all the watches they have this is one of the most simple ones, and that is what I like about it. It has a simple faux white leather strap and the actual clock is also white with rose gold details. What I think makes this simple watch special is that the numbers are roman and it has other details there aswell that I don't know that to call. Those details is what I like about it and I think it makes it more interesting. That is what realy like when it comes to style. Simple things but with a something little more.

To be honest, I am not a rose gold fan. I prefer the normal yellow gold. I did one time found a neckalce that I liked that was rose gold but when I held it against my skin I felt like it really didn't go well with my skincolour. Because it is so much white on this watch and the rose gold is only in the details that is not a problem. I really like it on my skin. I actually think I like it more than I though I would when I first found it. Yeah, I love this watch!

Summer Everyday Makeup

When I say "Summer Eveyday Makeup" I mean the makeup look that I wear on an everyday baisis when I'm going to town, going shopping or something like that. I do not mean a makeup look that''s compleaetly waterproof that you can wear if you are going to the beach. When I go to the beach I don't wear any makeup at all because I just don't see the pint of it.
A lot of the products I use have changes lately when it has gotten warmer and the look is a bit more bonzed.

I wouldn't say my skin is oily but it is more normal to oily or combination now on the summer and because of that I have been liking the The Body Shop InstaBlur primer which helps my makeup stay on better and longer and it is also a bit mattifying. After that for foundation I use the MaxFactor All Day Flawless in Warm Almond. That is a great foundation for the summer months because it gives medium to full coverage depending on how much you use and you could mix it with your moisturizer if you want a lighter coverage. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15 is the best concealer I have used. Not much more to say about it really, it's just great. To set all of that I use Kicks Powder in Translucent.

I'm not the biggest bronzer girl but I have gotten more into it since I got the E.L.F. Cool Bronzer because it does not look orange at all, so I have been using it everyday for the summer. What blush I use changes from day to day but in this picture I have used the Wet n Wild blush in Pearlecent Pink.

For my eyedrows I have been using the Soap And Glory Brow Archery. I find that for me I get a more natural look to my brows when I use a pencil instead of a powder which I have been liking latealy.

Too Faced Shadow Insureance to prime my eyes as alwaws and then their Chocolate Bar. The colour Milk Chocolate (top row) in my creas and Marzipan (second row) all over the lid. I usually highlight with the colour Venus from the Urban Decay Naked Basics. I do my winged eyeliner with the IsaDora Glossy Eyeliner and I finish the eyes with Maybellne The Rocket Mascara. If I feel like it I will tightline with the Lumene Sensitive Touch Automatic Eyeliner in Deep Black and use the IsaDora Inliner Kajal in Blond on my waterline.

For my lips I most of the time use my L'Oreal Glam Shine Balmy Gloss in 912.

Clothing Haul

Why is it always that you are in the biggest shopping mood when you don't have money? Can someone please answer that? "We always want what we can't have". That might be the answer..
Anyhow, I've done a little shopping lately. I shouldn't have because I don't have that much money right now but I did it anyway. I'm such a rebel. Honestly, that is probably as much of a rebel I will get.

Here are the pieses of chlothing that I have bought. The three first ones are from boohoo.com which is my favourite online store. I have seen people complaining about their delivery and such but I have never had any problem with them what so ever and this was the third time I shopped there. I love their clothes and I feel like they have something for everyone, the delivery has been on time or before estimated delivery which is great!
The other two pieces are from Gina Tricot which is a Swedish clothing store but the also and stores in Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany and an european online store.

This one is out of stock or they don't sell it anymore.

199 swedish crowns Gina Tricot

75 swedish crowns (on sale) Gina Tricot

And here is me wearing the items fron Gina Tricot.

A Few Current Beauty Favourites

Since I had a pretty long break from blogging I thought it would be a good idea to write about my current favourite products. Because I haven't been writing here for a while there are a few products that I use almost on an everyday basis that never have been mentioned here. There are not too many products, just a few that have impressed me that I feel like sharing with you.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer - NC15. This is the best concealer I have ever had, it's also the only high end concealer I have ever had which I think might be a reason to why it's better than others I have had. I have never found I drugsroe concealer that have enough coverage for me here in Sweden and I have never repurcheshed a concealer. The one drugstore concealer though that I did really like was the Lasting Perfection from Collection that I got when I was in London. That one has good coverage and it last pretty much all day, but it could crease a little under my eyes.
The Pro Longvear concealer is full coverage I would say, it doesn't crease and it last all day. I don't know what else to say about it, it just an aweseome concealer. When it comes to the price it is a bit more expensive since it's from MAC but it contains 9 milliliter which is quite a lot so if you think about that, it actuallt isn't that expensive.
One more thing to think about is that one pump is, for me at least, much more than I need and you can't control it and only do half a pump. So to not waste any product I do one pump of it in a little container from an old sample sized face cream, then I use a brush to apply it on my face. That way I don't waste any product and one pump is enough for 2-3 days for me depending on how much I want to cover.

Nivea Double Effect Eye Make Up Remover. There are many makeup removers like this one on the market, the "double effect" that you have to shake so they mix toghether before you use it. I have only tried this one and the one from Lóreal which I know a lot of people like. For me, I have to say that I like this one more. I feel like it removes the makeup easier and I don't have to rub on my eyelid as much to get the eyeliner of which I had to do with the L´oreal one. I'm not saying that the Lóreal one is bad, it is really good, but the one from Nivea works better for me. The only negative thing about it is that the two solutions (is that what you call it?) separates again really fast after you shake it so you have to get it our on your cotton pad quickly.
It says on it that it's good for sensitive eyes and it is. My eyes are sensitive in the way that the can water really easily but I have never had any problems with this one.

Lóreal Glam Shine Balmy Gloss - 912 Sin For Peach. I got this about a month ago and then it said that it was a new product, which probably was a big reason to why I got it. I haven't tried any of these "chubby lipgloss pen/crayon" things before so I wasn't too sure about what to expect from it but this is now my go to lip colour. I love the colour because it is quite close to my natural lip colour but better, more pink and glossy. It's perfect. It is more like a lipgloss than a lipstick but it still has a good pigmentation and it feels really nice and moisturizing on the lips.
One thing that is a bit missleading about this shade is that it has peach in the name but it's a pink as you can see on the swatch. There is now peach in it, so that could be missleading if you order it online and don't have the chance to swatch it before you buy it.

IsaDora Inliner Kajal - 56 Blonde. I used to use a white eye pencil from H&M on my waterline. That one isn't the best. It's doesn't have the best colou payoff, not the worst eighter, and it doesn't last for that long. I used that one because I just didn't care too much about it when I used a light colour on my waterline. (What black eye pencil I will use is way more important to me.) When I was at the drugstore a few weeks ago I decided that I wanted to try one that probably will work better than the H&M one. I have had a black eye pencil from IsaDora which was pretty good so when I saw that they had one in this pale beige colour I bought it. I do really like it. It doesn't last the entire day but for some hours and if you want to it's obviously really easy to reapply it and it ony takes 5 seconds.
Now, IsaDora is a swedish brand and I'm not sure about where you can find it outside of scandinavia, if you even can. But since I have been loving it I wanted to talk about it eigher way.
