How To Feel Good #1

I have had a lot in school this spring which made me quite stressed over some time. I also graduate in June so I have been thinking a lot about what I want to do after the summer which both makes me a bit stressed and a bit scared. But during this time I noticed some things that helps me feeling better so I thought I would share those things with you.

Enjoying a relaxing evening on the balcony.

Sleep. That is probably the most important thing if you ask me. If I have a good night sleep I feel much better the next day and I have more energy. Try to not stay up till past midnight everyday if you need to get up early to go to school or work. Even if you think that you don't need an 8 hour sleep you probably do. I usually go to bed between 22.00 and 23.00 if I have school the next day. If you are not tired I know it can be really hard to fall asleep but I have three tip for that, that works for me.
1, Make sure it's not to hot in your bedroom. I don't know about you but it is really hard for me to sleep when it's hot. I much more prefer it to be a bit cold so I can cuddle up in my blanket.
2, Don't go to sleep hungry. I know some people say that you shouldn't eat after 19.00 or something like that but if I am hungry I will have something to eat. I don't mean a whole meal but maybe a sandwich or something like that.
3, Have a glass of milk before you go to bed. I don't know why this helps me to fall asleep but it does.

Be healthy. I do not mean that you have to be a healthy freak and go to the gym 5 times a week. I just mean that you can try and not eat the chocolate or cookie that you are craving. Have a fruit or some nuts instead. I know it can be hard if you are not used to it and if you have a sweet thoth but you will get used to it. I promise.
Drinking water is also something that is good for your health and for your skin!
When it comes to working out you don't have to do anything that hard if you don't want to. I can be enough to go for a 20 minutes walk a couple times a week if that is all you want to do. One thing that I would recommend if you (like me) don't want to spend money on a gym membership is blogilates. I love her videos and she always keeps me going even when it hurts! Her videos are the only work out I do and I usually do around 30 minutes 2-4 times a week. For me exercising helps me to concentrate and I have also found that I sleep better since I started with them.

Be organized. You don't have to be extremely organized and plan everything you ever do. But I would say that for me it helps to write down thing I'm doing in a calender. Both so that I won't forget anything and I find some kind of satisfaction in it. I don't know if that's weird but that's how it is. With being organized comes keeping it clean and tidy around you. I have heard people saying that if you have it messy around you your mind can be a bit of a mess too and I do believe it is a bit like that. Having said that though, I'm really not good at keeping my room tidy but I'm working on it.

Be spontaneous. I just talked about being organized but I think it's as important to be spontaneous. Go and do something fun with you friends without planing everything. Just go somewhere and have fun and don't really think that much. Everyone needs to get some time of sometimes, even if it just for a few hours.

In short, what I trying to say here is that to be happy and feel good I think it is important to find some kind of balance in your life and just enjoy it. Keep track on what's going on in your life at the same time as you just let some thing happen.
