Everyday brushes

Since I showed my everyday makeup I thought I'd show the brushes I use on an everyday bases. All of them are actually from e.l.f. I almost only have brushes from e.l.f. and that's mostly because they are so affordable and some of the are really good too. I do want to try brushes from other brands, like Sigma and Real Techniques, but I think these brushes are good to start with since you get many for not so much money.

The brushes on the picture above are the ones I use everyday, and they are all face brushes.
1, e.l.f. Blush Brush.  I use this brush for applying blush. It is flat with a rounded top. The blush dosen't always apply even but I think the brush is okay and it's soft and feels nice on the skin.
2, e.l.f. Complexion Brush. This is the brush I use for powder. I really like this brush. It's not all round like powder brushes usually are. It has more of an oval shape I'd say, which I like. It makes it easier to powder under the eyes, and for me that's the area I need powder the most. I got it in this kit, that's why it has a shorter handle that the other brushes. They have this brush in the studio line too if you only want to buy this brush.
3, e.l.f. Powder Brush. This is a really good brush for liquid foundations. It is a flat top kabuki brush and I personalt think these kind of brushes are better for applying foundation that "normal" foundation brushes. I think it looks better and more flawless with this brush.

This is the brushes I use when I use eye shadows in my everyday makeup.
1, e.l.f. Eyeshadow Brush. I pack my eyeshadow on the lid with this brush. I don't have much to say about it. I don't ask for much from a brush like this but I like this one and I have two of them.
2, e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush. I use this brush to blend eyeshadows in the crease. I like the size of it, I feel like blending brushes are too big sometimes but this one isn't. It not the softest but it's okay.
3, e.l.f. Eye Crease Brush. I apply eyeshadow in the crease with this brush too but mostly in the outer corner since you get it more precise with this one. I would say this and the blending brush are the same but this one is smaller.
4, e.l.f. Defining Eye Brush. I like to use this brush for highlighter in the inner corner of my eyes and on the brow bone. It's like an angled fluffy brush and I really like it.
5, e.l.f. Blending Eye Brush. This is also a blending brush but it's bigger than the other and I like to use this to blend everything when I'm done applying. This is softer than the other eye brushes and I got in the same set as the complexion brush.

  1. I've heard positive things about the brush #3. My friend loves it and she's told me dozens of times to order it. :D
